Services Offered
I offer trauma-informed play and creative therapy, alongside consultation and supervision, to support children, young people, families, and professionals. My work is child-centred, attachment-focused, and paced to meet individual needs. To maintain the quality and containment of therapy, I hold a limited caseload at any one time.
How can I help?
For Parents and Carers For Schools, Local Authorities and Professionals.
Support for Children and Young People
- 1:1 Play Therapy (ages 3+)
Play Therapy is a child-centred, non-directive therapy using play and creative materials. Children are free to communicate their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in their own way, at their own pace. For many children, words alone can be difficult to find, so there is no expectation to talk about difficulties. The therapist supports the child to explore and work through themes that emerge in their play. - 1:1 Creative Therapy for Adolescents and Young Adults
This model follows the principles of child-centred play therapy but is adapted for older children and young people. Creative therapy integrates talking and creativity, and is particularly helpful for those for whom “just talking” feels too challenging.
Working with Parents and Caregivers
- Parent/Caregiver Consultations
Sessions provide a space to discuss concerns about your child, explore what may be happening for them, and consider ways to support emotional wellbeing at home. Consultations can be offered online or by telephone. - Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT)
CPRT is an evidence-based, 10-session filial therapy program designed to strengthen the parent-child attachment bond and reduce stress and behavioural challenges. Originally developed for children aged 3–10, it can be adapted for toddlers and pre-adolescents. Currently offered online in collaboration with Helen Forrester at Mara Play Therapy, and also adaptable for individual sessions.
Upcoming course dates: Please ask.

The CAPA assesses attachment and complex trauma in children aged 3-11. It can be helpful in planning appropriate support around the child.

Professional Support
- Professional Consultations
For professionals in healthcare, education, and youth services, providing a space to reflect on practice and enhance skills in supporting children and young people facing challenges. - Clinical Supervision
Regular supervision is available for professionals working with children, young people, and families. Supervision sessions can be offered online or in person and provide a safe space for reflection and professional development.
Agency / Organisational Referrals
I accept referrals from Schools, Children’s Centres, NHS Services, and Social Services.
Therapeutic input can be offered as individual sessions for children, consultation for staff, or packages of work, depending on the needs of the organisation. All work is tailored and carefully structured to support the child while maintaining professional boundaries and safeguarding standards.
Typical components include:
- Initial information gathering and assessment
- Weekly 50-minute play or creative therapy sessions for each child
- Regular review meetings with relevant professionals
- Parent/caregiver review meetings (approximately every 6–8 sessions)
- Reports on completion of intervention when requested
Packages are dependent on organisational needs and are discussed individually.
